Steps of Injection Mold Design

fröccsöntő szerszám

Injection molding is one of the most widely used manufacturing technologies in the plastics industry, as it enables the production of large series of cost-effective, high-precision parts, even for more complex shapes. One of the important milestones of this technology is tool design. The purpose of this article is to provide an insight into the main steps and critical points of injection molding tool design.

A cikk célja, hogy betekintést mutasson a fröccsöntő szerszám tervezésének fő lépéseibe, a kritikus pontjaiba.

Reverse Engineering – The Key to Technological Understanding and Innovation

Reverse engineering is the process of analyzing an existing product, component, or system with the aim of understanding its structure, operation, materials, and manufacturing methods. This is particularly useful when original documentation is unavailable or when a competitive or compatible solution needs to be developed. In industrial practice, reverse engineering is often used to reconstruct the geometry of obsolete but still-used parts (e.g. through 3D scanning or coordinate measurement), or to optimize existing designs. Thanks to digital modeling and modern CAD/CAM systems, reverse engineering today can mean not just reproduction but also innovation—especially when combined with artificial intelligence and topology optimization.

AI-PM connection

Mesterséges intelligencia a projektmenedzsmentben – előny, nem helyettesítés A mesterséges intelligencia (AI) térnyerése a projektmenedzsmentben nemcsak technológiai trend, hanem valódi versenyelőnyt jelent a vállalatok számára.

Die-sinking EDM

Die-sinking electrical discharge machining (EDM) is an indispensable technology in precision toolmaking. In applications where complex shapes, high-hardness materials, tight tolerances, or excellent surface finishes are required, EDM provides a competitive edge. Therefore, for toolmaking companies, EDM is a strategically important asset that significantly contributes to the quality and reliability of the final product.
